About Me!
I was put in gymnastics at a very young age after I finally wore my mom down with my jealous grumbling about my older brother's classes. I was hooked instantly and for the next fifteen years gymnastics shaped me. It taught me hard work and discipline, the sport consumed my life for years and I loved it. But before I knew it my career was over, I had broken my back and was unable to come back from it. I was devastated I felt like my sense of self was taken from me. I was lucky though because around that same time my high school theatre teacher encouraged me to audition for her production of Annie and once again, I was hooked. I dove into theatre headfirst with no safety net, learning everything I could as quickly as possible. In telling and creating stories, I've reclaimed my sense of self; theatre was the creative outlet I was unknowingly craving for years.
